When do I need a massage?
There are plenty of reasons why you should get regular massages. There is also just because. You don’t need a reason to treat yourself after all.
If you are feeling tight, sore, stressed, tired or even if you just feel like getting one, then it’s probably just what you need.
Deep tissue massage is best suited for people who engage in highly physical activities, such as running, or those who have an injury or chronic pain.
If you have a low pain threshold or are looking for relief of tense muscles, Swedish or relaxation massage is gentler and may be a better option.
How often should I get a massage?
The answer depends on your pain and physical needs, your stress and emotional needs, and of course, your budget.
Receiving massage regularly will have the most benefit.
Once a week, or every two weeks would be ideal, but may not be realistic for every person.
